I’ve been scrolling through Instagram a lot the past few weeks.
Toxic, I know.
But, I’ve been getting absolutely hit with ads. I’m talking about the “prettiest” models with the best builds and chiseled faces.
I wanted to look like them, but I didn’t want to spend $80 on a t-shirt.
I came across David Outwear and was intrigued.
Their line looked the same as a few of the brands I have seen, but their prices did not.
Is David Outwear, a relatively new brand with snazzy tees, the solution to my conundrum?
What Is David Outwear?
David Outwear is a lifestyle apparel brand founded in 2020 to offer premium, on-trend apparel at an affordable price and with great customer service.
The company offers a wide range of unique jackets, coats, shirts, and accessories that were designed with the modern man in mind. You probably won’t find anything like these pieces anywhere else on the market.
Thankfully, the brand also offers customers discounted gear when they’re rotating styles and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Things to Consider Before Buying
David Outwear isn’t the most luxurious name or coveted brand, simple as that.
If you’re looking for apparel plastered with logos that everyone’s going to recognize, this brand isn’t for you.
The brand aims to be a good value and fashionable, while also using high-quality fabric blends with a density that makes the shirt super soft, pre shrunk, stretchy, and durable.
You probably won’t find David Outwear’s styles available from other brands, and you definitely won’t be able to get the same quality for the price.
My Hands-On Review
Crew Curve-Hem Tee
The Crew Curve-Hem Tee is the brand’s bestseller—and the one I was most eager to try.
Right off the bat, it’s one of the softest shirts I’ve ever felt. I’ve had Pima cotton, poly-cotton blends, 100% synthetic—just about everything. The brand’s SIVOR blend (62% polyester, 33% cotton, and 5% spandex) excels in softness.
When I first put it on, I was pleased to notice that it wasn’t too baggy or too tight, one of my pet peeves in t-shirts is that the sleeves get a little too baggy and end up looking like an boxy suit rather than a flattering t-shirt.
Because of the fit and the fabric that retains its shape even after washing, the Crew Curve-hem Tee has to be one of the most versatile tops that I have.
I feel like I could wear it to a business meeting or out on a date and the person I was out with wouldn’t bat an eye. The
In hot weather, I could wear this solo and the moisture-wicking fabric could handle my sweat and in colder months, a jacket would pair nicely with it.
I could definitely see myself stocking up on multiple different colors of the Crew Curve-Hem Tee for each day of the week.
The Crew Curve-Hem Tee has David Outwear’s soft and stretchy SIVOR fabric blend, only with a vintage flair provided by the curved bottom seam. Because of the fit and the fabric that retains its shape even after washing, this has to be one of the most versatile tops that I have.
What Do Other Reviewers Say?
Most products on David Outwear’s website show a perfect 5/5 rating with nothing but great things to say about their orders.
A lot of them say the Split-Hem and Crew Curve-Hem Tee are great for athletic builds, and the material works well for casual and athletic settings.
I found the official TrustPilot page for the brand, and an overwhelming amount of customers have great things to say about their order and the quality of the apparel.
My Thoughts Overall
What I Like
- The Crew Curve-Hem Tee retains shape after many washes.
- I love how the upper portion of the shirt accentuates the shoulders and torso.
- The SIVOR blend is one of the softest proprietary blends of any t-shirt I’ve tested.
What I Don’t Like
- The neck logo is comically large on David Outwear shirts.
- I’m not keen on the Crew Curve-Hem Tee’s length, but tucking it in avoids a draped look.
Who Is The Crew Curve-Hem Tee For?
Besides things like shirts and gloves, David Outwear has trendy garments that you usually need major bread to get your hands on.
The brand offers a host of good-looking styles and jackets for a fraction of what the alternatives would cost. While I have yet to test any of their main offerings, I can infer based on the quality and style of the Crew Curve-Hem Tee that I’d be a die-hard follower.
