Our Story
At the ripe old age of 37, I know one thing for sure.
Whether you’re in your 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, or 110’s, adulthood as a man can be a challenge to navigate.
Since graduating from college in my early 20s, I’ve been on a continuous quest of self-improvement. And while plenty of old habits die hard, I’m still driven every single day to improve as a friend, partner, son, and future father.
I created The Adult Man in mid-2016 to document my own journey and to hopefully inspire other men to choose a path of self-growth over complacency.
Quite quickly, contributors with far more talent and expertise than me joined our cause.
Through the hard work of our highly talented team, we’ve since grown to become one of the largest men’s sites on the internet, reaching over one million readers monthly with our library of over 600 pieces of content.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower men to find more confidence through style, grooming, dating, relationships, fitness, and self-development.
We believe these are the fundamental building blocks to living a more fulfilling life.
Our expert team is very much on the same journey of self-improvement, and we’re passionate about sharing the lessons we’re learning along the way.
We love trying products and services geared toward men and always give you only our honest thoughts after trying them out ourselves. Read more about our editorial guidelines and standards here.
We always back up our claims with links to scientific/literary sources or our own battle-tested evidence. We’re always learning which means we’re always updating our content accordingly.
Whether it’s outlining the business casual dress code, advising how to text a girl, or simply listing 31 ways to become a better man, we’re committed to helping men navigate adulthood.
Welcome to The Adult Man. It’s our pleasure to have you here.
