Shopping for cool clothes that fit right is surprisingly hard. You’ll find a pair of pants that looks great in the thigh, but the lower legs look like bell bottoms. A seemingly perfect t-shirt accentuates your arms and chest, but it’s long enough to look like a dress.

You deserve a brand that balances style, quality, and a fit that makes you confident. Jack Archer claims to have the secret sauce, so we reviewed their bestsellers to verify how flattering their menswear truly is.

Bottom line: These guys truly changed my mind about professional-level tailoring not being possible through online shopping. The Legacy Jacket is crisp, comfortable, and looks great no matter where I’m sporting it. The Jetsetter Pants complement my rear, and the crotch gusset is a game changer for the office and travel. While the Anytime Tee is a tad long, it’s soft for the skin.

Pros:
  • The iron-free fabrics are easy to maintain, especially during travels
  • The contoured seat and crotch gusset provide flattering comfort on the Jetsetter Pant
  • All of Jack Archer’s apparel has a tailored look without hugging every part of the body
Cons:
  • Legacy Jacket is too slim to layer over thick garments

Thick thighs are a gift.

A 5” inseam bathing suit packages them like a carefully wrapped Christmas present. They make quick pivots on the tennis court a breeze. I can rearrange furniture more easily than a draft horse drags a plow.

Shopping for trousers? That’s less of a blessing and more of a curse.

Wouldn’t men have it so easy if we could leave the house in kilts every day? Regardless of leg size, height, and build, shopping for bottoms could be a cakewalk instead of a pilgrimage.

I’d struggled to find a brand offering accurate and accessible men’s sizing with a clean, smart style.

Then, I found Jack Archer scrolling the web.

The name itself gives off the image of a tactful, well-dressed action hero. But instead of crossing wires to diffuse a bomb, he’s liberating the well-guarded secret to a perfect fit from the menswear overlords.

The Jack Archer moniker might conjure up a thrilling tale, but I took it upon myself to see if their mission towards precision-fitted fashion saves the day or remains a fantasy.

What Is Jack Archer?

The Adult Man Jack Archer Anytime Tee Full Outfit View

Jack Archer is a men’s apparel brand founded by Miguel Facussé on the principle of making comfortable, multi-use clothing accessible.

In 2021, Miguel identified a recurring need in Reddit threads: Men struggling to find high-quality, versatile pants. This inspired the creation of Jack Archer, which aimed to provide travel pants that were both functional and stylish.

The brand saw rapid success, generating about $1.2 million in sales in just two months. Despite this success, Miguel faced challenges in scaling up due to Jack Archer’s age and the reluctance of banks and investors to invest in a young company.

This led Miguel to OpenStore, a startup that acquires successful Shopify stores and accelerates their growth with their e-comm expertise. Under new ownership, Jack Archer continues to excel in crafting menswear that compliments a man’s natural frame.

Things to Consider Before Buying

If you prefer a traditional aesthetic, apparel from Jack Archer might be too contemporary for your style.

Their product has a distinct “techwear” look that’s become popular in recent years. They incorporate stretch fabric, trim cuts, and reflective strips.

Clothing from Jack Archer caters to the on-the-go lifestyle. Wrinkle-free materials, anti-odor threads, and stretchy fabrics are meant to provide comfort and function as you move.

If your current wardrobe is adequate in supporting the way you live, spending extra money might not be worth it if you don’t see the value in their approach.

My Hands-On Review

Legacy Jacket

The Adult Man Jack Archer Legacy Jacket In Front of Resorvoir

My jacket selection was missing something: a sporty, chic layering piece that’s smart enough for business matters yet sexy enough for upscale dining with my lady.

I thought the Legacy Jacket was sent from above. It’s as if Jack Archer knew I was trying to channel my inner Kendall Roy from Succession (all of the style and billionaire ambition, with none of the failure or desperation, of course). Especially in this Space Black colorway.

At 6’1” and 190 lbs, I went with my regular large size for tops, and it fit like a symbiotic suit from a superhero movie. It falls just below the waist, with sleeves ending at the base of my hand, and the shoulder seam contouring the corner of my shoulders.

Swinging a golf club or lifting a pint, it’s like it’s part of me.

The Legacy’s dimensions make sense for a casual jacket, but if you’re keen on layering for warmth, there isn’t a whole lot of room under the jacket.

It’s superb over a button-up. With the zipper undone to show off my crisp, white oxford, I become an unbothered business tycoon from the movies.

The wrinkle-free aspect is a lifesaver. I pulled it out of my gym bag, and it was ready to go–no creases or fuss. Ideal for those of us who are always on the move and need to look polished without the effort.

Jack Archer is proud of their pocket placement, alleging they’re conveniently placed for time-saving ease of access.

Storage space is a must for any jacket, but I didn’t think this was anything extraordinary. The front pocket placement is just like any of my other tops and is big enough for AirPods, a cell phone, and my passport.

The saw cuts both ways, however. Carrying more than one thing in each pocket looks bulky due to the jacket’s trimmed profile.

The material is a high point. Made from PTT polyester, it’s soft and stretchy but holds its shape. And it’s lightweight, too, so you don’t feel like you’re being weighed down.

Durability-wise, it’s solid. Premium stitching means no worries about loose threads or torn hems. The branded zippers feel strong and always stay in place.

I love the black-on-black stitching, too. This gives the jacket a smooth, modern look that’s professional when I want it to be but relaxed when I’ve tapped out from a week of grinding.

The Legacy Jacket costs almost $160. It packs a lot of features, but spending that kind of bread would be easier if it was warmer and could be worn over a thicker top.

I’m happy with mine, but if you aren’t, Jack Archer offers returns up to 30 days from purchase, but customers are responsible for return postage.

This jacket brings dashing simplicity to the party. It’s versatile and stylish, and the easy-care fabric avoids last-minute ironing sessions when I’m already running late. I don’t know anyone with the cash for a tailor-made zip-up jacket, but considering how well mine fits, I’ve convinced my friends I do.

Jack Archer Legacy Jacket

A smart yet casual jacket done very, very well - the Legacy’s dimensions, fit, and silhouette just make sense. It’s superb over a button-up with the zipper undone to show off a crisp, white oxford, and the anti-wrinkle fabric is a lifesaver. Ideal for those of us who are always on the move and need to look polished without the effort.

Jetsetter Pants

The Adult Man Jack Archer Jetsetter Pants Full Fit

The Jetsetter Pants are Jack Archer’s claim to fame. My wardrobe has seen the far reaches of tech pants, so I had to see how theirs stack up.

If you’re like me, and you’re used to sizing up slim-fitting pants to avoid a goofy, shrink-wrapped look, I’d go true-to-size with the Jetsetter Pant.

I picked up a 34×32 in the aptly named Deep Blue despite my true size being a 33×32. They fit nicely, and the stretchy polyester fabric molded to my waist better than denim would.

The Adult Man Jack Archer Jetsetter Pants Rear

The fit is straight throughout the hip with a slight taper through the leg. I didn’t need to be so cautious since they’re more relaxed than typical “slim fit” trousers.

Its “jetsetter” title isn’t a baseless claim. These pants don’t need to be babied to maintain a crisp appearance.

I’ve crammed them into my backpack multiple times, and each time, they emerge looking sharp and ready for action. That’s a big plus for someone like me who’s always on the go.

The ‘Anti-Ball-Crush’ feature might sound funny, but trust me, it’s a must, especially for someone like me who can’t sit down without crossing my legs.

The small gusset and stretchy fabric avoid any tightness without creating an awkward lump of fabric while sitting down.

While there isn’t any shapewear for guys, Jack Archer understands the importance of a contoured tush.

The subtle butt-lifting is a nice touch that makes me feel a bit more confident.

The Adult Man Jack Archer Jetsetter Pants Back Pocket

If you’re concerned about looking like you just got a surgical butt-lift, it’s not that dramatic. I have a bigger bottom but didn’t experience a wedgie-inducing squeeze–more of a complimenting embrace.

A cool feature I’ve found handy is the reflective tape in the Jetsetters’ cuffs. Roll them up at night, and you’re more visible, which is great for safety and adds a bit of style, too.

The Anti-Odor and Fast-Dry technologies have been lifesavers. Whether it’s running through a downpour or rushing to catch a flight, they keep me feeling fresh.

The Adult Man Jack Archer Jetsetter Pant Pocket

So far, the Jetsetter Pant has proven its travel-worthiness. The Stain Repellent feature is just Jack Archer showboating at this point. I spilled my coffee, and it just beads up and wipes off.

They don’t pill or lose shape, even after many wears and washes.

I’d say the wrinkle-free design is effective in most cases. The material is thinner than the Legacy Jacket’s, but it still needed a pass with a garment steamer after being crammed into my suitcase.

The Adult Man Jack Archer Jetsetter Pants Knee

I wouldn’t blink spending almost $150 these again. A pair of hiking pants could get me a similar amount of utility, but top-notch sizing can only come from a brand that cares about a proper fit.

Flexible fabric, a dapper aesthetic, and no-fuss care are all things I need to look and feel good when I’m out of the house. These pants nail each one. With such a polished look, I wouldn’t hesitate to sneak them in as part of a suit for my affairs that call for a formal dress code.

Jack Archer Jetsetter Pants

While there isn’t any shapewear for guys, Jack Archer understands the importance of a contoured tush; the subtle butt-lifting is a nice touch, and the microfiber material that stretches but also recovers its shape means these pants don't wrinkle. The “jetsetter” title isn’t a baseless claim - these pants don’t need to be babied to maintain a crisp appearance.

Anytime Tee

The Anytime Tee seems like a bargain for the price, given its laundry list of features. I picked mine up in Space Black.

For such a simple garment, I was worried Jack Archer’s product description was a big nothingburger, but I had to give it a chance.

The modal blend is buttery-soft, making it feel luxurious against the skin. It’s comfortable enough for a lazy day but has this silky quality that feels upscale.

The Adult Man Jack Archer Anytime Tee Sleeve Shot

I love the texture, but I’m not gung-ho on the shiny look of the fabric. Personally, I prefer a matte texture for my T-shirts, but your taste may vary.

I get having to iron pleated slacks or a linen shirt, but whipping out my iron for a simple tee seems like such a waste of energy.

The Adult Man Jack Archer Anytime Tee Back Dart

You can pull the Anytime Tee out from the back of a drawer, and it’s ready to wear–smooth and wrinkle-free. It’s perfect for when I need to look sharp with zero prep time.

The Adult Man Jack Archer Anytime Tee Collar

It’s got a tailored construction that hugs the right spots while giving you enough room to move freely. The curved hem and twin back darts add a touch of class that my simple cotton tees lack.

Having ordered a size large, the only miss was the length. It’s quite long, and I think a medium would be too snug in the chest.

The Adult Man Jack Archer Jetsetter Pants Full Fit 800px 1

It’s surprisingly great for active days too. The modal fabric wicks moisture way better than cotton, so I’m always dry and comfortable. Plus, it doesn’t trap odors, which is major for traveling without access to a washing machine.

A stack of tees can hog up precious suitcase space, but the Anytime Tee packs down into nothing.

The eco-friendly aspect is a bonus if you prefer natural fabrics. It doesn’t feel like a cheap synthetic shirt at 91% modal and 9% spandex.

I love that it doesn’t succumb to a violent spin cycle, either. No fading, no pilling, just that new-tee look every time I toss it over my head.

The Anytime Tee should change its name to the ‘Anytime, Anywhere, Any Reason’ Tee. It’s that clever.

Even if it’s a bit long for my preference, the light, breathable, and packable design adapts to what, where, and how I’m doing something.

With a 4.8/5 star average across 11 reviews, the Legacy Jacket is regarded for its fit and quality. However, one review states it might be too tight if you’ve developed a rock-solid base from lifting.

Their most-reviewed item, the Jetsetter Pant reaches a 4.8/5 star rating from the 1,855 reviews at the time of writing.

Thanks to exceptional flexibility and versatile styling, many reviews make it a point that the Jetsetter Pant does it all. My Thoughts Overall

What I Like

  • The Legacy Jacket’s tailored cut is flattering for my slim torso but isn’t hard to move around in.
  • Four-way stretch, iron-free fabric, and odor-controlling features make Jack Archer easy to maintain and perfect for my travels.
  • The moisture-wicking fabric on the Anytime Tee keeps things cool, especially when I’m wearing it under a jacket or blazer.
  • A slim fit on the Anytime Tee showcases my arms and chest without a snug fit around my stomach.
  • For someone who works at a desk, the roomy fit near the crotch keeps me from constantly adjusting.
  • Despite the slim fit of the Jetsetter Pant, the stretchy tech fabric is as unrestrictive as my favorite workout joggers.

What I Don’t Like

  • Jack Archer states the Anytime Tee can be worn untucked, but mine was too long despite fitting everywhere else.
  • The Legacy Jacket is too slim for layering over hoodies, sweaters, or thick shirts.

Who is Jack Archer for?

If you relate to either of the following pain points, Jack Archer is for you:

Struggling to find a brand that makes sizing a priority? Their flexible fabrics, butt-shaping pants, and slim-yet-comfortable designs provide a flattering fit without gripping every nook and cranny.

Are your dated, unremarkable clothes lacking features that make travel easier? If so, their wrinkle-free fabrics, durable stitching, and anti-odor technology solve the common distractions that apparel can bring when you’re out of town.

The Verdict

Jack Archer sounds like an A-list Hollywood actor, but they’re not trying to be a celebrity-adorned designer brand.

Instead, they’re offering value in the form of aesthetics, function, and comfort.

Considering how good I look in their product, I’d wander onto the red carpet without feeling out of place.

I’ve been wearing the Legacy Jacket the most. Between my office commutes and retreating from a brutal gym session, it’s proven to be my most stylish and comfortable second layer.

If I’m not wearing the Legacy or Jetsetter Pants, I’m probably in my Anytime Tee. I love the silky texture, and the breathable, odor-repellent material is a no-brainer for workouts.

After a few weeks with the Jetsetter Pants, I get how they started it all. My buns, thighs, and family jewels all agree that the contoured design, adaptable fabric, and crotch gusset are a luxury.

Ordering bespoke clothing adds up quickly. For the cost of a custom-made jacket, I could buy all three items with money left over to scoop some of their boxer briefs.
